Maestro Mai-Tai

Made with Galvez Governor's Blend

Trader Vic’s and Don the Beachcomber both lay claim to this tropical concoction. We say skip the conflict and enjoy the cocktail.

Ingredients


  • 2 oz Galvez Governor's Blend Aged Rum
  • .5 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
  • .25 oz. El Guapo Orgeat Syrup
  • .25 oz. Rich Demerara Syrup 2 parts demerara sugar to 1 part water)
  • 1 Egg White (optional for added texture)

Method


Add all ingredients to a shaker and fill with ice. Shake well until frosty. Strain into a tiki mug or highball glass over crushed ice. Garnish with a mint sprig and lime wheel. For a Hawaiian twist and added texture, add an egg white and dry shake first, then finish as above.
