It takes boldness to reimagine a classic, but fear not. Our bourbon barrel-aged rum keeps this one comfortably close to — delightfully different from — the original.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Galvez Governor's Blend Aged Rum
  • .25 oz. Rich Demerara Syrup (2 parts demerara sugar to 1 part water)
  • 4 dashes Angostura Bitters
  • Orange Peel

Method

To a rocks glass, add orange peel, bitters and syrup, then muddle to express orange oils. Add Galvez Governor’s Blend and ice. Stir to combine and garnish with an orange wheel and Marasca cherry flag.
